Here Are The ‘Destiny 2’ Opulent Weapon God Rolls You Should Be Hunting

Destiny 2 has brought back almost all of its beloved Menagerie weapons, but with old god rolls, new god rolls and the ability to craft them. As such, it can be hard to know where to start, hence the guide I’m making here about what you probably are going to want to be pursuing.

I already wrote a separate guide about getting red frames for crafting, which mainly revolves around spamming the “cheap” focusing option until you fill out 5 frames on a few of them, but you can also just get great rolls naturally from Opulent Chest drops.

In this guide I am only doing the four from the Season of the Haunted, because the other two, the fusion and machine gun, are technically dungeon weapons, which is a separate guide. So, what’s on deck?

CALUS Mini-Tool (Solar Submachine Gun)

Threat Detector or Unrelenting/Incandescent – You may have already noticed the god-tier solar perk dropping on a lot of stuff, which is Incandescent, spreading scorch burn to enemies. Not only does it burn through mobs, but can also trigger fragments to reduce class ability and melee cooldowns. I have Threat Detector on mine which you can really notice in most combat situations. Others prefer Unrelenting for the healing capabilities.

Threat Detector/Surrounded – These two synergize well together, and don’t forget that Surrounded spec exists for even more damage. Still, hard to lose the burn.

Grave Robber/Incandescent or Surrounded – Given how much you’ll be spamming melee attacks on Titan and Hunter especially in this meta, Grave Robber is actually a decently solid option for this.

Austringer (Kinetic Hand Cannon)

Outlaw/Rampage – I mean, is there any more classic combo? The old god roll still lives, and it’s my go-to for PvE. With crafting, it can now be enhanced as well for faster speeds and longer timers.

Eye of the Storm/Opening Shot – This is a pretty wild PvP roll that you’re going to see a lot of. Makes it a blast and incredibly sticky in gunfights.

Snapshot/Rangefinder – This takes PvP capabilities in a different direction with faster aim and longer range.

Beloved (Solar Sniper Rifle)

Surplus gold Snapshot/Incandescent – Look, it’s just hard not to put Incandescent on everything that can roll it, including this. This makes it a mini Cloudstrike given the mobs it can torch.

Surplus or Snapshot/Moving Target or Quickdraw – This is your preferred PvP mix and match combo here. I’m a Snapshot/Moving Target guy myself with my terrible aim, but it’s up to you.

Drang (Solar Sidearm)

Well-Rounded or Wellspring/Incandescent – What, you thought I wasn’t going to put Incandescent on this too? Same mob-clearing potential as CALUS, though with worse first column perks. Well-Rounded will be a stat boost with ability spam, Wellspring would fill those abilities instead.

Eye of the Storm/Rampage or Zen Moment – This is a PvP dueling roll that can have you pick between the damage stacks of Rampage or the stability of Zen Moment. I suppose another first pick could be Moving Target for extra stickiness.

There you have it. Get to hunting. It may take a while.
