Keanu Reeves added a healthy dose of star power to the panel for BRZRKR: The Immortal Saga Continues at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Friday.

The 57-year-old performer appeared to be enjoying his time at the fan-favorite event, during which he answered several questions about his comic book.

During the panel, it was announced that the Matrix franchise star would be co-authoring a book set in the fictional universe of the series, which is currently being adapted for the screen by Netflix.

Reeves wore a nearly all-black outfit that included a v-neck shirt worn underneath a jacket.

The Bill & Ted franchise mainstay also contrasted a pair of slim-fitting pants with a set of dark brown high-top boots.

The performer was joined by his collaborator Matt Kindt, who co-writes BRZRKR, and their panel was moderated by Coy Jandreau.

At one point, the actor was seen while addressing a fan, and he also threw up a pair of peace signs to his audience.

BRZRKR is centered on an immortal warrior only known as B, who has managed to fight his way throughout the ages.

In modern times, the character has partnered with the United States government in an effort to learn more about his origins.

The first issue of the series was released in March of 2021, and its ninth made its debut last month.

Following the comic book’s arrival, it was announced that Netflix would be producing both a live-action film and anime series based on BRZRKR.

Reeves is currently set to both star in the movie and produce the animated show, which has been planned out for two seasons.

The performer spoke about working with his currently-unnamed co-author during the panel and expressed via Entertainment Weekly that they quickly became a fan of the comic book.

He stated: ‘They read the comic, they enjoyed it, and they had a lot of questions. They were kind of open, and curious, and liked the premise.’

Reeves then noted that he and BRZRKR’s creative team were impressed by what the co-author had planned out for the book.

He said: ‘We’ve been speaking and doing outlines and concepts but they’ve brought something really original to the table and they were like, “What do you think?” And I think all of us were like, “Sounds crazy but amazing.”‘
